From our corporate headquarters in The Hague, Netherlands, APM Terminals today oversees the world’s largest and most geographically balanced Global Terminal Network of over 50 facilities in 35 countries, on five continents, employing over 19,000 talented and dedicated professionals around the world. In 2008, an estimated 500 million twenty-foot container units (TEUs, or “twenty foot equivalent units") will move through the world’s container terminals bringing consumer goods, commodities and agricultural products, among others, to the growing markets of the global economy.
